If you are looking for a church home, Charity Christian Church is a great place to serve, and you don't have to be local to join....just committed!
If you are listening or watching virtually, you may partner with us!
On the day of Pentecost, Peter preached the gospel and told people to be baptized. Then, in Acts 2:41, “three thousand souls were added to their number.” Even at the beginning, the first Christians knew who they were. The life of the church wasn’t just a matter of “come when you can.” There was a defined, recognized group of people who believed, were baptized, and were part of the number. It’s not just that they knew each other, though. Those early Christians lived life together. They attended the temple together (2:46) as more and more were “added to their number” (2:47) until in Acts 4:4 the number had risen to five thousand (and that’s just counting the men)! To be a part of “the number” meant that they were “of one heart and soul.”
As you know, the Gospel is free, but Ministry costs. So if the Lord has laid it on your heart to partner with us financially, you may send a monthly donation via snail mail, at POB 16214 Jackson, MS 39236, or you may donate via cash app, at $CharityFGBC, but most importantly, keep us lifted in prayer, that God would continue to use this ministry for His glory!
Scriptures Regarding Membership
Hebrews 10:25 - Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some [is]; but exhorting [one another]: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
Romans 12:4-5-For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office: So we, [being] many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.
Acts 20:28 - Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.
Covid 19 Precautions (Updated 04/10/2022)
As we monitor the progression of the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic throughout our nation and region, we are taking steps to mitigate any potential impact to our church family and our facilities.
The entire church is consistently cleaned, sanitized, disinfected, sterilized, and fogged to aid in preventing the spread of the virus. As our community has reopened, please partner with us in taking practical measures to slow the spread of the virus.
Bible Study will continue to be virtual, however, for Morning Worship here’s what we need:
If you’re not feeling well please stay home and continue to worship with us virtually. If you are WELL, however, we need you to return to the sanctuary for fellowship!
Please arrive by 9:30am, so that our new processes (temperature checks and sanitizing) do not disrupt the services, as we are still streaming live.
You must wear a mask the entirety of the time you are inside the building.
Temperatures will be taken at the door, and if anyone in your party has a fever you will not be able to enter the sanctuary. The entire group must attend virtually.
Please sit with the party you rode in the car with (this includes children), and please sit where advised, as we are continuing to social distance.
Once you enter the sanctuary, please remain in that area until the service ends. This limits areas in the facility that will need to be cleaned, sanitized, disinfected, and sterilized between individuals.
Regarding tithing/giving: virtual donations are recommended instead of cash. However, we will accept cash if necessary, and offer pick up services for tithes by request.
We miss you and we love you but no one is able to hug, or shake hands, for any reason and everyone is asked to vacate the premises as soon as service has ended.
Due to limited availability and precautions to limit the spread of the coronavirus, there will not be any transportation services.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation! We love you and look forward to worshiping with you!
